FloScan Series 9000 With GPS Interface |

Our Series 9000 GPS Interface System
combines a digital LCD Engine Hour Meter, Tachometer, Fuel
Flowmeter, Fuel Totalizer and nautical Miles Per Gallon over the
ground in a single 3-3/8" diameter instrument which fits the panel
space of a standard tachometer. The speed signal required to
calculate the nMPG reading is obtained from GPS and Loran systems
having a NMEA 0183 serial port output. The direct display of
nautical Miles Per Gallon over the ground gives the skipper a
powerful new tool to set optimum fuel efficiency under all
conditions and to determine precisely how far he can go with his
remaining fuel.

displayed in tenths of a gallon. Totalizer capacity up to 99,999

backlighting of LCD provides for easy night viewing.

Single and twin engine models
require 1 SPST push button panel switch for resetting fuel
totalizer reading. Use push button switch (MP39680) for this feature.

Single and twin engine models
require 1 SPST toggle switch for accessing MPG reading. Use
recommended toggle switch (TG40020) for this feature.

Twin gas models also incorporate an
Engine Synchronizer Indicator and Port/Stbd GPH selection. 2
additional SPST toggle switches are required for accessing these
features. Use recommended toggle switch (TG40020) for these
features.

Meter fits 3-3/8" panel opening
(standard tach size). Can replace existing tachs in panel.

Applications
Fits all carbureted inboard and
stern drive engines up to 350 hp.
Fits all EFI inboard and stern drive
engines (including Mercruiser and Volvo) with closed loop fuel return
systems.
Fits all Mercury Optimax, Evinrude
Ficht, Yamaha HPDI, and Honda 4-stroke engines.
Fits all 2-stroke EFI outboard engines
Important note for the
following outboard engine owners:
- Evinrude E-Tec 2-cycle
- Mercury Verado 4-cycle
- Suzuki 4-cycle
- Yamaha 4-cycle
The engines listed above have two fuel pumps. Because the engine's
lift, or low pressure pump cycles on and off while filling the vapor
separation module, the FloScan instrument GPH/LPH readings will
constantly fluctuate between 0 GPH/LPH and approximately 25-50 GPH or
95-190 LPH depending on lift pump and engine size. Though the GPH/LPH
readings are unusable, the FloScan instrument will accurately record
total fuel consumption as displayed in the totalizer window.
